According to IMDb, Guy Fieri is now in his 20th year of "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" which launched on TV back in 2006. The website Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives Locations shows that at least 26 Missouri restaurants have been featured on Guy's show. There are several things you should know before looking at the list. Many of these Missouri places have either gone out of business or have closed and been taken over by a completely different restaurant now. You would think that being featured on a super-popular show like "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" would insure success, but that's proven to not be the case. While having national recognition from a food celebrity like Guy Fieri certainly helped, there are many other challenging factors that come into play when a restaurant is trying to achieve and maintain success and profitability. That has become an even steeper hill over the past few years with food prices skyrocketing and staffing issues for restaurants. Even a big jump in utility bills and other costs have caused many Missouri restaurants to call it a day. At least these 26 Missouri places can say they were famous thanks to Guy Fieri for at least 15 minutes.
