A Huge Bear Was Waiting in This Missouri Woman's Yard

Missouri is full of wildlife which means you never know exactly what you might see in your yard. That point was just proven as a woman being taken home by a bus discovered that a large apex predator was awaiting her arrival - a huge black bear.

OATS Transit just shared this interesting photo that they captured when they were transporting a southwestern Missouri to her house. I'll admit that I was concerned if this picture was real, but OATS is a very established transport service and I'm certain they wouldn't punk me.

I can't recall seeing a bear this large in a yard before, but the Missouri Department of Conservation says there are now more than 1,000 black bears in the state and they're not just in the southwestern part of the state, but the bear population is expanding northeast now. That's why you have to assume that there could be a bear near your house if you live near wooded areas in the state because you might be right.
