On Saturday, October 17, 2026, someone stopped in this store located at 10070 Gravois Avenue in St. Louis according to the Missouri Lottery. This mystery someone picked up a Show Me Cash ticket which did what it said it was going to do to the tune of $271,000 with the numbers 9-10-19-26-33. As of today, no one has come forward to claim this big win which is now listed on the Missouri Lottery's Unclaimed Prizes site.

How much is a $271,000 Missouri Lottery prize worth after taxes?

Here's what the breakdown looks like from online lottery tax calculators:

• Federal Withholding (24%): $65,040
• Missouri State Withholding (4%): $10,840
• Total Withholdings (28%): $75,880
• Initial Net Payout: $195,120

I'd like to have a talk with the FICA dude who keeps taking a big chunk of my paycheck, too. That's still a really nice payday for someone, though. My guess is that whoever has the winning ticket probably knows it and is talking to their accountant and/or lawyer to make sure their affairs are in order before coming forward, but it's possible that someone has the winning ticket, but doesn't know it yet. Is it you?
