Jodie Lynn Borchers, 37

Jodie Lynn Borchers age 37 of Green Ridge died on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her home. She was born on November 24, 1975 in Sedalia daughter of Jobe A. and Linda (Crawford) Vaughn.

She was married on July 29, 2000 in Sedalia to Larry W. Borchers and he survives of the home. Jodie went to Sedalia Public Schools and graduated from State Fair Community College with her L. P. N. degree. She worked at local nursing homes and home health care. She enjoyed doing crafts with her nieces and caring for her dog Marilyn.

She loved spending time with her family. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters; Tara Sprinkle (Tommy) and Rebecca Vaughn both of Sedalia, one brother; Robert Leggiero of Sedalia, two stepsons; Kyle and Kent Borchers both of Sedalia, mother; Linda Schieszer of Princeton, MO, Aunt; Margaret Jonson of Sedalia and Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded by her father Jobe A. Vaughn. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Cooper officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Page, Sam Davis, Tommy Sprinkle, Russ Johnson, Jeff Allen and Brian Mittenburg. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday February 7, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Sedalia Humane Society.
