Funeral Announcements for August 6, 2025

Visitation for Larry Wayne Swillum, 74, of California, will be on Thursday, Aug. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Windmill Ridge Funeral Service. Mass will be held Friday, Aug. 8 at 10 am at Annunciation Catholic Church with burial following at Annunciation Catholic Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Joseph Kenneth Ream, 93, of Sedalia,   will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Rea Funeral Chapel, with full military honors conducted by the United States Army and VFW Post #2591 at 6:30 p.m. Inurnment will occur at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family of Lori J. Johnson Sholly, 65, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at Heckart Funeral Home, where s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A funeral service for Viola Gordon, 96, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lohman.
