Kansas City Zoo Polar Bear Set To Leave Zoo

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A male polar bear is set to leave the Kansas City Zoo after calling it home for the past five years. Zoo officials said Wednesday that 8-year-old Nikita will leave at the end of the year and head to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro for breeding purposes.
