Katherine Alice Crum Aldrich, 76, of Sedalia, went to join her husband in Heaven on Monday, March 9, 2015.

She was born July 15, 1938, in Sedalia, to Clarence Lee and Lena Morrison Crum. On June 28, 1956, in Sedalia, she married Clarence William Aldrich Sr., who preceded her in death on July 7, 2010.

Katherine worked as a nurse. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and reading.

Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie A. Fleischman (Joseph), of Sedalia; four sons, Clarence Jr., Richard (Julia), Steven (Mary), and James Aldrich, all of Sedalia; eleven grandchildren, two of whom she raised: Richard Aldrich and Anastashia Allcorn; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Crum; and a sister, Rosetta Bowring.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Claude, Bill, Jim, Bob, Donnie, and Ronnie Lee (in infancy); and a sister, Margaret Lucille Crum.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Duane Duchesne officiating.

Casket bearers will be Joseph Fleischman, Chris Fleischman, Eric Fleischman, John P. Crum, Clarence Crum and Ricky Aldrich.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.
