Kathryn Juanita Yount, 80, of Sedalia, died Monday, February 22, 2016, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.  She was born on December 5, 1935, at St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Ted and Helen (Chasteen) Clark.

She was raised in St. Louis and attended grade school there.  She was married to Leroy Brown and this union was blessed with three sons: Larry, Donald, and Joseph. Later, she married Jesse W. Peek and was blessed with six children:  Jesse, Alice, George, Annie, Becky, and Nancy. After her children were born, she moved to Windsor to raise her family and was married to Harold Yount.  She later moved to Lincoln where she lived for the next 25 years.  She then moved to Cole Camp.

She is survived by:
four daughters, Alice Brown of Kansas City, Annie Mizer and Alfred of Sedalia, Becky Simpson of Sedalia, Nancy Moon and Ricky of Sedalia;
five sons, Larry Clark, Donald Brown, Joseph Brown, Jesse Brown of Windsor, George Peek of Windsor;
her sister, Virginia Moon of Windsor;
three brothers, Morgan Young and Virginia of Sedalia, Edward Young and Barbara of Cole Camp, and Ray Young of Windsor;
six grandchildren, Lester Moon, Ronny Dady, Cami Staten, Marsha Moon, Timothy Moon, and Ian Staten; and
eleven great-grandchildren, Jessica Schultz, Austin Schultz, Landen Menning, Ceanna Staten, Alex Schultz, Cody Moon, Tiffany Moon, Anthony Clark, Bradley Moon, Emma Yood Howard and Keaton Dady.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Janet Moon and Fay Moon.

Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at Jaycee Hall, 208 E. Main, Cole Camp.  Burial will be in Union-Williams Cemetery, Cole Camp.

Memorial contributions be given to the family in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
