KCMO Bicyclist Struck & Killed in Platte County

A bicyclist was struck and killed on Monday morning in Platte County.

25-year-old Xavier M. Anderson of Kansas City, Mo., was riding his bicycle on NW Tullison Road, south of Riverway Boulevard in Platte County around 5:30 a.m., when he was struck from behind by a southbound 2016 Chevy Cruze, driven by 25-year-old Emily A. Davis, also of Kansas City.

Anderson was transported by KC Fire to North Kansas City Hospital, but was pronounced dead at 8:51 a.m., by Dr. Simpson.
