On the morning of May 15, Morgan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 135 north of Stover near Westwood Drive.

Investigation of the one-vehicle accident with two occupants led to the discovery of a large amount of illegal narcotics, including Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marijuana, opiate pills and packaging material consistent with the distribution of drugs.

27-year-old Jeremy Lees of Kansas City, Mo., was arrested at the scene and transported to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.

After a formal interview, Lees was booked into the Morgan County Jail and charged with four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance by Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney Dustin Dunklee.

Bond was set at $75,000 surety only, according to Morgan County Sheriff Norman Dills.
