Stover Man Killed in Morgan County Accident

A Stover man was killed in a motorcycle accident that occurred Sunday evening in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 1995 Ford F-150, driven by a 77-year-old man from Tipton was on Missouri 52 at Missouri 5 around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, when he turned into the path of a westbound 2009 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic, driven by a 39-year-old man from Stover.

The Stover man was pronounced deceased at 6:13 p.m., by Dr. Roman from Capital Regional Medical Center. The body was taken to Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles by Mid-Mo EMS.

This was Troop F’s fourth fatality for November and the 46th for 2024.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed by Garber Diesel.

There were a total five Troopers on scene.
