A Lincoln man was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday afternoon in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2003 Ford F-150, driven by 42-year-old Aaron N. Knuppel of Lincoln, was on Missouri 5 near Millifork Lane just after 5 p.m., when the truck traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle skidded, returned to the roadway and traveled off the left side where it struck an embankment and a fence before coming to rest in a field.

The Ford was totaled and towed from the scene.

Knueppel was later arrested by the Patrol at 6:23 p.m. He now faces charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

LOOK: How Halloween has changed in the past 100 years

Stacker compiled a list of ways that Halloween has changed over the last 100 years, from how we celebrate it on the day to the costumes we wear trick-or-treating. We’ve included events, inventions, and trends that changed the ways that Halloween was celebrated over time. Many of these traditions were phased out over time. But just like fake blood in a carpet, every bit of Halloween’s history left an impression we can see traces of today.
