
Three Drivers Injured in Head-on Crash in Pettis County
Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night in Pettis County.
The MSHP reports that a westbound 2012 Audi A4, driven by a 15-year-old male from Sedalia, was on Route Y, east of Van Natta Road, when he tried to overtake a westbound 2011 BMW 328, driven by a 16-year-old male from Warrensburg on the crest of a hill.
The Audi then struck an eastbound 2003 Toyota Camry, driven by a 24-year-old female from Sedalia.
After impact, the Camry spun around and was struck by the BMW. The Audi and the Camry came to rest off the roadway on the south side.
The BMW traveled off the south side and struck a tree.
All three drivers sustained serious injuries.

The 15-year-old was transported to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia by PCAD.
The 16-year-old was transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City by PCAD.
The 24-year-old woman flown by Life Flight Eagle to University of Missouri Hospital.
All three vehicles were totaled and towed.
Pettis County Deputies assisted the three Troopers on scene.
