A Thanksgiving night rollover crash injured three people in northwest Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2003 Nissan Exterra, driven by a 18-year-old female from La Monte, was on Jones Road, north of Patrick Road, (NW of La Monte) around 6 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected several times before overturning on its side in the middle of the roadway.

A 16-year-old female passenger from Zillah, Washington was ejected from the Nissan and suffered serious injuries. She was flown to Research Hospital in Kansas City by Life Flight.

The driver also suffered serious injuries. She was transported to Centerpoint Hospital. Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Another passenger, a 20-year-old male from Palmer, Alabama suffered minor injuries, but was not transported. It was not known whether he was wearing a seat belt.
The Nissan was totaled and towed by Don's Truck Towing.
