On Monday night, the Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education approved the hire of Holly Ladd as Sedalia 200 Food Service director.

Ladd has worked the past 15 years at Sonic Drive-In on South Limit Avenue in Sedalia, most recently in the role of managing partner. She will replace current Sedalia 200 Food Service Director Debra Wenig, who is retiring.

Ladd is eager to get started in her new role.

“I have a lot of experience working with and managing students, and all three of my children have graduated from Smith-Cotton High School,” she said. “I’m looking forward to working with the great kitchen staff we have in all of our schools and ensuring students get delicious and nutritious meals every day.”
