The 20th ranked State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners cross country team recorded a program-best 20th place finish as a team with 502 points at the NJCAA Division II Cross Country Championships at Apalachee Regional Park on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Tallahassee, Florida.

Freshman Tanner Maggard recorded a team-best 65th place covering the 5K course in 21:26.3. Sophomore Korry Davis finished in 97th with a time of 22:24.2. Freshman Kara Van Vleck finished 102nd in a time of 22:41.2.

Freshman Breanna James finished 111th with a time of 22:56.4. Freshman Adamaris Ramirez finished 127th with a time of 23:41.2. Freshman Madelyn McBride finished 160th with the time of 26:07.6.

“It was an amazing finish to an incredible year,” said Roadrunners Head Coach Brad Hagedorn. “The weather was hot and humid, but this team ran smart. The results come from a season of tough conditioning and consistent hard work that our athletes committed to from the start of the season. I couldn’t be prouder.”
