The Smith-Cotton girls soccer team lost 3-0 on Monday to Rock Bridge in the Lady Tigers' annual Kickin' It For a Cure cancer fundraiser game at Susie Ditzfeld Soccer Complex.

The Bruins scored three times in the first half but were held scoreless in the second.
S-C Head Coach Meredith Brick said: "As a potential contender in the first round of districts, it will be important for us to reflect and be ready to play them again if that’s how the chips fall.

"Tonight’s effort was good, but we must play a full game. We adjusted at halftime and we held them the second half scoreless. We have two weeks left of regular season games and I am still super pumped for this team and what they will achieve," Brick said.

S-C's JV also lost, 6-0.
