The folks down at the Liberty Center Association for the Arts are always doing another great piece of theater. Their latest show is an amazing southern comedy. 'Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got The Will?' is the season closer at the historic Lona Theatre operated by the Liberty Center Association for the Arts.

The story is set in a small Texas town and concerns the reunion of the Turnover Family, who is gathered to await the imminent death of their patriarch. In essence, however, it is not the story of the impending demise of the father or of the drafting of his will, but a story of the rebirth of the spirit of the family unit.

I got to talk with Daddy himself, Mark Hibbard. He was here to tell us all about the plot and about how you can get involved in this great local entertainment!

Daddy’s Dyin’ opens at the historic Lona on May 8 under the direction of Ashley Cook. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased at the office at 111 West 5th St., Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., by calling 660-827-3228 or via email at lcaa@iland.net.  Tickets are now available for this hilarious comedy at the Liberty Center for $12 each, and the dates are May 8-11.

Dyingly yours,
Behka
