A 46-year old man from Lincoln, MO was recently arrested for promoting child pornography.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control says Jeremy Q. Prescott was arrested on Thursday (June 27), for promoting child pornography. The arrest was reportedly the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit.

The Patrol was assisted by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. On Thursday, investigators executed a search warrant at Prescott’s residence located on Fairoaks Drive, in Lincoln.

As a result of the search, investigators reportedly seized child pornography and computer equipment. Prescott was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail.

Then on Friday (June 28), the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Prescott with one count of promoting child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography. Bond was set at $50,000.
