Watch Madison Rising's Rock n' Roll National Anthem

Our national anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner" is always played before big sporting event begins. It's considered an honor to sing the national anthem, some performances are great, some are awful, and some are really weird. At the Nationwide Race that took place at Daytona Speedway last Saturday (Feb. 22), the national anthem performance definitely fell in to the third category.

The band, Madison Rising, looked and sounded like a Creed cover band and were introduced as "America's most patriotic rock band." They played a very different, high energy, rocking rendition of our national anthem. You just have to see if for yourself.
