Man Drowns in White River in Ozark County

A Moody man drowned Sunday in White River in Ozark County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 21-year-old Ryan T. McGee of Moody, Missouri, was wading in the water in the North Fork of the White River Sunday around 3:45 p.m., when he waded out too deep, went under the water and did not resurface.

McGee was pronounced deceased by Ozark County Coroner Gene Britt at 8:40 Monday morning. The body was taken to Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville.

There were a total of seven Troopers on scene.
