Margaret Ardella Gardner, 90

Margaret Ardella Gardner, 90, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Heartland Regional Health, St. Joseph, Mo.

She was born on February 15, 1923 in Saline County, a daughter of William Stone and Bertha Simmons. She was united in marriage to Roger Gardner, who preceded her in death in 1964.

She enjoyed quilting and doll making.  She was a member of Katy Park Baptist Church, Sedalia. She is survived by five grandchildren, Mitchell, Lisa, Ingalisa, Steven and Johny Jo.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three children, Dixie Clark, Loraine Peel and Robert Vansteenburgh; one granddaughter, Brenda; five sisters and six brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Katy Park Baptist Church, Sedalia with Rev. Jon Church officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, Columbia, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to Katy Park Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
