
Marshall Man Injured After Crashing Into Tractor
A Marshall man suffered moderate injuries when he tried to pass a John Deere on Highway 24 in Lafayette County Tuesday.
According to the MSHP, 44-year-old Jerry E. Ronsley of Marshall was eastbound on Highway 24 at Gliddens Road at 1:25 p.m., when he tried to pass an eastbound 2004 John Deere that was making a left turn, and struck the tractor.
Ronsley was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Lexington EMS. He was not wearing a safety device. The driver of the tractor, 64-year-old Danny L. Rogge of Waverly, was reportedly uninjured.
The John Deere tractor had extensive damage and was towed by Ag Power John Deere Dealership.
