Mary Aline Reid, 90, of Raymore, MO, formerly of Sedalia, MO, died Friday, February 27, 2015, at Life Care Center in Grandview, MO.

She was born November 4, 1924, in Steelville, MO, daughter of Ray and Mary Wilkinson Cummins. She was married for 48 years to Elmore Reid, who preceded her in death.

Aline was raised in Steelville, MO. She attended Southwest Baptist College, Bolivar, MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sedalia, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. During the 50 years she lived in Sedalia, she worked at IGA and was a cook at Heber Hunt Elementary School.

Surviving are two sons, Terry Reid (Liz), of Grandview, MO, and Roger Reid (Beth), of Dupo, IL; three daughters, Mary Beth Miller (Bill), of Farmington, MO, Carol Collins (Terry), of Waynesville, MO, and Carla Reid, of Raymore, MO; eight grandchildren, David Reid (Tracy), Jon Reid (Sarah), Kyle Collins (Aly), Trevor Collins, Andy Miller (Alison), Nate Miller (Ashley), Emily Weidner (Adam), and Steven Reid; six great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Campbell, Molly, Adalyn, Aubrey and Hattie; a brother-in-law, Thelbert Franks; and two sisters-in-law, Maxine Reid and Pauline Cummins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Charles; and a sister, Emma.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Mt. Herman Cemetery, with the Rev. Roger Reid officiating.
Casket bearers will be grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or to the music department at First Baptist Church of Sedalia.
