Maurine T. Wissman, 74, of Hughesville, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her home. She was born on July 29, 1938 in Clay County, MO, a daughter of Ralph E. and Thelma C. (McCorkle) Taylor, Sr. On December 22, 1956 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Jacob J. Wissman, who survives of the home.   She enjoyed flower gardening, fishing and shopping. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Maurine was a member of La Monte Baptist Church.   Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Cynthia Lowry and her husband Norman of Warsaw, Mike Wissman and his wife Mary of Cole Camp, and Sandy Blankenship and her husband Don of Houstonia; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Jo Collins of Longdale, CA; and one brother, Maurice Taylor and his wife Ruth Ann of Sedalia.   Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph E. Taylor, Jr. and one great granddaughter, Addison Blankenship.   A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 17, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Van Mellen officiating.   Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.   Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.   Pallbearers will be David, Bart, Kurt and Kevin Wissman, Andrew Blankenship and Mike Lowry.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Bothwell Hospice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
