The 121st annual Pettis County Republican Party’s McKinley Day featuring the 3rd annual Freedom Rally to honor active military, veterans and first responders will be held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds Agriculture Building on Thursday June 22 in Sedalia.

The evening’s keynote speaker will be the State of Missouri’s Military Advocate Harry Roberts who will share critical details on his role in the State as well as his efforts that directly impact Whiteman Air Force Base that includes mission retention and expansion.

Active military, veterans and first responders will be recognized for their efforts during the evening.

State-wide elected officials expected to be at the evening’s event include 2024 Missouri Gubernatorial candidates Jay Ashcroft (currently Secretary of the State of Missouri) and State Senator Bill Eigel.  Missouri State Treasurer Vivek MalEk will also be there along with Missouri State Senator and 2024 Missouri Secretary of State candidate Denny Hoskins, and Missouri State Republican Party Chairman Nick Myers.

Local Missouri State Representatives Brad Pollitt and Rodger Reedy are also expected to attend in addition to numerous Pettis County elected officials.

The evening’s social time and the public’s opportunity to talk with these and other local officials begins at 5:30 p.m., with the evening’s auction and dinner starting at approximately 6 p.m.
