Funeral Announcements for August 19, 2026

Funeral service for Art Wonderful Williams Sr., 62, of Sedalia,  will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the chapel. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements for Elijah Paul Scott, 45, of Sedalia, are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial service for Michael James Bahner, 72, Bahner, Mo., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20 at St. John's Catholic Church in Bahner. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Bahner. The rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 at St. John's Catholic Church in Bahner with visitation beginning at 7:30 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

A celebration of life for Edwin "Perry" Goss, 51, of Sedalia, will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service for Peter J. Filis Jr., 60, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Full military honors will be conducted by the Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard and Sedalia VFW Post #2591. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life at a later date for James Arthur “Jimi” Burnworth, 46, Sedalia.

Visitation for Sharon Kay (Berry) Vannoy, 77, Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Hughesville, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 at Heckart Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31 at Green Ridge Cemetery.
