Funeral Announcements for February 24, 2026

A celebration of life for Ricky Dean Lewis, 68, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

The family of James Franklin “Jim” Zumsteg, 86, of Otterville, will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at First Baptist Church of Otterville, concluding with a 40 & 8 service. The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Otterville. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date for Ruth Louise Griswold, 89, of Overland Park, Kan. Arrangements by Heckart Funeral Home.

There will be no formal services held at this time for David Layton Adair, 68, of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Ronald "Dean" Fockler, 81, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery.

A private family service will be held at a later date for Robert Douglas "Doug" Halteman, 64, of Carterville. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Vaneeta Louise Rehmer, 69, of Cole Camp will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at Fox Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Cole Camp. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 at the funeral home.
