Funeral Announcements for February 9, 2026

Funeral services for Wayne Jefferson Hutcheson, 98, of Sedalia will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9 at Heckart Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville with full military honors by the VFW Post 2591 and the United States Army at 12 p.m.

A visitation and memorial service for Lola E. Smith, 95, of Sedalia, will be announced at a later date this spring. Burial will take place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Brenda J. Eckhoff, 82, of Smithton will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 13 at Maplewood Church. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

A Celebration of Life for Sherry L. Woodman, 68, of Sedalia,  will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Sedalia Shrine Club. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service and burial for Mary Sue Sutton, 92, of Topeka, Kansas, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.

The family of Armilda (Witte) Schroder, 92, will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Florence United Methodist Cemetery.
