Michael B. Cary, 62, of Moberly, MO passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 4, 1952, a son of Howard and Mary (Adams) Cary, who survive of Safety Harbor, FL.

He enjoyed motorcycle riding, classic cars and bowling.  Michael served his country honorably in the US Air Force.  He was a volunteer fireman for Pettis County Fire Department for 20 years and a member of The American Legion.

He is survived by a son, John Michael Cary and his wife Erin of Sedalia; a stepson, Russell Perkins and his wife LaDonna of Sedalia; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Keightley-Scott of Sedalia; two brothers, Steven and Kenneth Cary; three sisters, Brenda Keck, Margaret Nacewicz, and Rebecca May; a granddaughter, Maddison Elizabeth Cary; seven grandsons, Ryan, Tristan, and Lucas Perkins, Richard and Justin Scott, Christopher Boehm, Maxx Perkins and his wife Kayla; a great granddaughter, Payten Perkins; and his dog, Wrigley.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Cary.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 13, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Richard Fisher officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Full military honors will be conducted at graveside.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of the funeral chapel.
