The Missouri State Fair got off to a great start yesterday, and today more fun is planned to Celebrate Then and Wow!  First off, it is MoDOT day, where you can enjoy all kinds of games and activities in the Highway Gardens.

The Farm Toy Show continues in Assembly Hall all through the day.

A new event is the MRCA Exceptional Rodeo, which will take place in the Mathewson Exhibition Center for the first time after being in the State Fair Arena for years.  This will allow cowboys and cowgirls the chance to show their rodeo skills and be in an air conditioned environment.  You'll want to stick around as the Missouri State Fair will have the Queen Coronation after two days of competition in the Mathewson at 3 p.m.

The Bud Stage will feature The Roys at 2 and 6 p.m., with the Missouri State Fair Idol at 4 and the Nace Brothers play during the evening, all for free.

The State Fair Arena will feature the MRCA Finals Rodeo and ticket are $8 Adults / $5 Ages 6-12.
Ages 5 & Under FREE.

The Pepsi Grandstand will feature country artists, Justin Moore and Josh Thompson at 7:30 p.m.
