MoDOT is in the process of rehabilitating the US 65 northbound bridge over Muddy Creek in Pettis County.

The bridge is located 0.2 miles north of John Road and 0.3 miles north of Smelser Road. MoDOT will be performing work on the superstructure and guardrail as well as constructing a new bridge deck.

The work will serve to extend the life of the bridge. Construction is expected to be completed by Fall 2024.

The northbound bridge will be closed for the duration of the project. A median crossover has been constructed to transfer northbound traffic to the southbound lanes. This will reduce northbound and southbound traffic to one lane.

LOOK: Things from the year you were born that don't exist anymore

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.
