Nightly Lane, Ramp Closures Continue For Portions of U.S. 50

MoDOT Kansas City will be making pavement improvements along eastbound and westbound U.S. 50 between approximately Todd George Rd. to just north of Bannister/NW Colbern Road until approximately July 2021. This week’s work includes the following closures. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will close the ramp from eastbound U.S. 50 to Chipman Road nightly, beginning on Monday, May 3, through Thursday, May 6, from 8 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Crews will close the ramp from Chipman Road to eastbound U.S. 50 nightly beginning on Monday, May 3, through Thursday, May 6, from 8 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Crews will close the eastbound U.S. 50 ramp to 3rd Street nightly beginning on Monday, May 3, through Thursday, May 6, from 8 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Crews will close the ramp from 3rd St. to eastbound U.S. 50 nightly beginning on Monday, May 3, through Thursday, May 6, from 8 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
