Northwest Junior High Girls Win Kaysinger Tournament
Capping an undefeated season, the Northwest Junior High School girls are tournament champions after winning the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at Otterville.
Karli Smith averaged 17 points a game and led the team in rebounding.
Grace Walker averaged 7 points a game and forced 4 turnovers a game.
Maddie Willmuth averaged 4 points a game and lead the team in assists.
Zoe Richardson was the team's best on-ball defender and forced 6 turnovers a game.
Kit Shane was the leader on the floor and set their offense up.
Alexis Jolly came off the bench and provided the team good minutes. She was the ultimate team player and always did what was asked.
Average points allowed per game: 13 ppg
Average points scored per game: 33 ppg
The team also won the Sacred Heart Invitational in January.
The Northwest girls are coached by Anthony Balbirnie.
