One Man Injured as Freightliner Strikes Tractor in Johnson Co.

A 41-year old man was injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Johnson County, MO.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 9:15, on Highway 50 west of MO-131.

According to the online crash report, a 2011 Freightliner overtook and struck the rear of a New Holland farm tractor.

The driver of the Freightliner, 41-year old Marvin Williams, of St. Louis, suffered moderate injuries. Williams was taken to Research Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

The driver of the tractor, 76-year old Thomas O. Slack, of Holden, was reportedly uninjured.
