One Man Injured on I-70 After Vehicle Overturns

A 20-year old man was injured Monday night after his vehicle overturned on I-70 in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 7:45, on I-70 near the 74.2 mile marker.

According to the online crash report, an eastbound 2007 Honda traveled off the left side of the road, struck a cable barrier, then overturned into the westbound lane.

The driver, 20-year old Dawson T. Lemmons, of Lee's Summit, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. Lemmons was taken to I-70 Medical Center, by Sweet Springs EMS, for treatment.

The Honda sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
