Pettis County Health Center Issues Clarification On Travel Passes
The Pettis County Health Center has issued a statement about travel in the county.
Jo Ann Martin, the Administrator of the Pettis County Health Center, sent out a clarification:
No travel pass is required for Pettis County. The current Stay At Home Order as issued by Dr. Randall Williams, Director of Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services does not require a pass to travel. Local public health agencies have the authority to make limitations more strict. If you have a question about a travel destination, please contact your destination or check the county health department website for that county. Other states may have different rules. If you must travel for work or an emergency, check with your destination.
Governor Parson's Stay At Home order does not prohibit Missourians from accessing essential services, such as grocery stores, gas stations, and banks, or engaging in outdoor recreation, provided that necessary precautions are taken and maintained to reduce the transmission of COVID-19, including observing the social gathering and social distancing requirements set forth in the Order.
