The Pettis County Road and Bridge Department noted that Rattlesnake Hill Road, from Kahrs Road going south to the bridge, will be subject to road closures for asphalt road maintenance from 7 a.m. Thursday, June 26,  until 7 a.m. Friday June 27.

Fresh oil will be on the road over the weekend, but the road will be open. Rattlesnake Hill Road will also be subject to daily road closures from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. during the week of June 30 through July 4.

"We ask that you make alternate arrangements for these dates. Safety is our #1 priority. We value our employees and you. Please watch for work zone signs and barricades. Please do not drive around the barricades. Signs and barricades are there to provide safety of all the workers and to prevent damage to the construction site and/or your vehicle. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve your road. Please contact the Pettis County Road and Bridge Department if you have any questions," a  press release read on Wednesday morning.
