Pettis County Sheriff’s Crime Reports for December 25, 2019

On Monday, Pettis County deputies arrested Zachariah C. Sparks on a violation of an ex parte and 2nd degree burglary in the 4300 block of McVey. Sparks allegedly broke into the residence there. He was placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges.

On Monday at 8:08 p.m., Pettis County deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle in the 3600 block of South Kentucky. The vehicle was later located through the use of a tracking device at 3501 W. Broadway. Justin Schoen of Otterville was taken into custody for Pettis County warrants, along with the driver, identified as Kayla Benton of Sedalia. She was charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card. Benton was placed on a 24-hour hold.

Pettis County deputies were dispatched to 3505 South Grand, Lot 18 on Monday at 6:24 p.m. on a disturbance. Deputies arrested Alexis Gilmore of Sedalia on a Morgan County warrant with a $100 cash bond.

On Monday at 5:11 p.m., Pettis County deputies took a report from Bees McCollester of Sedalia in reference to fraudulent use of a credit card. A possible suspect was identified and deputies were attempting to locate the suspect.
