Pettis County Sheriff’s Crime Reports for September 17, 2019

Pettis County deputies took a report of a stolen back & red 1998 Mustang from Tara Sleeper on Saturday, which was taken from her driveway. It was later recovered, but damaged.

On Saturday, 36-year-old Jamie G. Waibel reported that two subjects known to him stole his 2002 Honda from his driveway.

William Skinner reported damage to mail boxes on Saturday in the 2900 block of Monsees.

Pettis County deputies arrested Dione Downs of Sedalia on two Municipal warrants on Sunday with a total bond amount of $420.

On Friday, Pettis County deputies took an assault report in the 1500 block of Crestview Drive. A suspect has been identified, and charges were submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office.

On Sunday, 48-year-old Timothy Leary reported that someone entered his unsecured garage and stole a cell phone, described as black Galaxy J3 Orbit, with a five-inch touch screen.

Damage to a man hole cover was reported at Washington and Pine streets in La Monte, after it was struck by a vehicle.

On Thursday at 2:11 a.m., Pettis County deputies responded to Bothwell ER and arrested Mark A. Purinton on a Pettis County warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.

On Sept. 9, deputies took a report involving theft of US Mail from a box in the 3100 block of Oak Brook Boulevard in Pettis County.
