Philip Mark Parrish, 59, of Selma, IA, formerly of Sedalia, died Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home.  He was born February 1, 1953, in Sedalia, son of Philip R. and Gene Lower Parrish. He is survived by his parents, of Sedalia; his twin brother, William Mack Parrish, and brother, Keith L. Parrish; and about fifty cousins.   He was a 1971 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School and attended State Fair Community College. He worked for Excel Packing in Ottumwa, IA. He had lived in Iowa for the last 15 years, moving from Sedalia, where he lived most of his life. He had traveled extensively, including trips to Bogata, South America, Colombia, South America, Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico and Honduras. He enjoyed fishing more than anything, and also arrow head hunting.   Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Downing officiating.   Casket bearers will be Jeff Johnson, Dennis McFarland, Jake Miller, Lance Morton, Travis Morton and Keith Parrish.   Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home.   Condolences may be offered at heckartfuneralhome.com.
