Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit, Criminal Investigations Bureau, and Sedalia patrol offices served a drug-related search warrant at a residence on East Pettis Street that led to the arrest of a 45-year-old woman on multiple charges.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, a search of the residence revealed methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police also reportedly discovered meth, LSD, marijuana and evidence of distribution at a storage unit within close proximity of the residence. The residence and the storage unit are both located within 2000 feet of Sacred Heart School.

Alice M. Shepherd was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24-hour hold.

Charges being sought include:

-1st Degree Drug Trafficking (Methamphetamine)
-Distribution/Manufacturing A Controlled Substance Within 2000 Feet Of A School (Methamphetamine)
-Possession Of A Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
-Possession With Intent To Distribute A Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
-Possession Of A Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
-Possession Of A Controlled Substance (Acid)
-Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia
-Lee’s Summit Warrant – Possession Of A Controlled Substance – Bond: $2,000.00
