Sedalia known as the Queen City of the Prairie, had everything for a wonderful day of family fun.
Opening at 10 a.m. The Queen of the Prairies Festival of the Arts transformed historic downtown Sedalia into a venue for award-winning artists  and fine art crafters that drew art lovers and fun seekers from all over the state.  It was an unseasonably chilly day with a strong wind, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits all along Ohio Street.  I joined the festivities and got to talk to some amazing people, all while documenting the event in these pictures!

Not only was there art and craft, but there were also plenty of trade work. People who were very skilled in all sorts of things were actually working for the public to see their process.

But most of the festival was all about art and fun.

If you'd like to keep up with the festival and maybe find out more about next year's plans, go to their website.

Artfully yours,
Behka
