Raytown Man Killed in Clay County Crash

A Raytown man was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in Clay County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by 79-year-old Alfred Fletcher of Raytown, was on I-35 at Pleasant Valley around 12:30 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and the Mercury became airborne and struck a concrete wall.

Pleasant Valley Police assisted the five Troopers on scene.
