Sedalia Woman Injured in JoCo Crash
A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2013 Dodge Avenger, driven by 81-year-old Ethel I. Throneburg of Warrensburg, was on US 50, east of Route D around 2:20 p.m., when Throneburg made a lane change and struck an eastbound 2009 Mercury Mariner, driven by 62-year-old Connie S. Borgstadt of Sedalia.
The Mercury traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Borgstadt suffered minor injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.
The Dodge had extensive damage, while the Mercury was totaled. Both vehicles were towed by Tip Top Towing.
