
Sacred Heart Boys Defeat Green Ridge
The Sacred Heart boys beat Green Ridge, 69-31, Friday night.
The Gremlins notched a home victory over the visiting Green Ridge Tigers (2-10).
Coen Brown led the way with 22 points. Tanner Damlo added 12 points and Carter Rice netted 10.
The Grems (7-4 overall) 2-2 in league play, next play Otterville (9-4) at home Tuesday night.
In JV action, Sacred Heart defeated Green Ridge, 27-22 in overtime.
In two quarters, Traven Wheeler led the Grems to victory with 11 points, while Ian Smith added 8 points.
The Junior High Boys “A” (4-0,3-0) beat the Green Ridge Tigers by a score of 53-25 Thursday night in the McGremlin Gym.
Grant Goodwin led the Grems in scoring with 13 points and added 4 steals. Connor Brown chipped in with 12 points and 6 rebounds, while Jacob Cordia, Josh Pacheco and Clay Crooker added 10, 9 and 7 points, respectively.
The boys next game is at home in the opening round of the SH Invitational on Monday. The Grems open tournament play vs the Northwest Mustangs. The game starts at 6:00.
