The Sacred Heart girls beat Smithton, 36-30, at the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at State Fair Community College on Saturday to take fifth place.

SH leading scorers were Emily Hesse with 13, Mariana Restrepo with 10 and Kiley Beykirch with 9.

With the win, the Lady Gremlins improve to 11-10 on the season.

Sacred Heart will next play at Weaubleau (11-8) on Monday, Feb. 7.

The Sacred Heart boys beat Cole Camp, 55-44, to take third place.

Coen Brown led the Grems with 19 points and Tanner Damlo added 12 points as the Grems improved to 16-4 overall.

SH boys play Weaubleau (10-11) on Monday, Feb. 7.

In the championship games, Tipton girls beat Stover, 56-36, to take first. The Lincoln boys beat Smithton, 42-35, to take first.
