This makes nine wins in nine consecutive years and 10 wins out of the past 11 years for the Gremlins.

The senior class in particular shined last night as they were determined to go undefeated in conference competition. The seniors accounted for over 50 percent of the team's winning points Wednesday night. Emma Rollings won top senior for the contest with 15 points, but was followed closely by Christina Stratton and John Oh both with 11 points.

Also, winning crucial points were Jack Lucchesi, Julianna Bourgeret and Hannah Wilhoit. The senior team won the team event with 29 correct answers in 20 minutes.

The senior coup was marred only by the unfortunate absence of Travis Holt due to illness. Another impressive performance was displayed by Sadie Rollings, who was top junior with 13 points.

"We could not have won without the points contributed by the rest of the team's solid performance, but the seniors went out in great fashion for certain," said Richard Bahner, SHS math coach.
