Sacred Heart hosted the Lincoln Cardinals in JH, JV and Varsity volleyball competitions Thursday, Sept. 17.

Sacred Heart JV won in two sets 25-15 and 25-14. Their record is now 2-3.

Sacred Heart Varsity beat their conference opponents 25-17, 25-9, and 26-24.

Senior Maria Mergen played some amazing defense and recorded nine digs, along with sophomore Emma Siron. Junior Kiley Beykirch lead the team with three aces and 22 plus assists.  Siron had 14 kills and Beykirch had nine.

Varsity's record is now 6-1, 2-0 in Conference.

“Another night in the gym playing volleyball is nothing we take for granted,” commented head coach Marlo Siron.

“We head to Camdenton this Saturday to play in the Lakefest tournament. We will be up against some bigger schools and the competition will be tough. Starting out the morning we will play Camdenton, Battle and Helias. #GoGremlins,” Siron said.
