
Sedalia Man Arrested For Assaulting Juvenile in Marshall
On Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 3:04 p.m., a juvenile contacted the Saline County E-911, reporting they were robbed at gunpoint.
The victim reported that three juveniles and one adult, identified as Daylen Bankovich, arrived at their home and went to Indian Foothills Park. The victim reported that upon their arrival at the park, an individual held a gun to their head and demanded that the victim give up their clothing and personal items. The victim was struck on the head with a gun and left at the park while the others departed in the vehicle.
The vehicle information was provided by the victim, and, later, using the park's camera system, law enforcement personnel obtained the license plate information and provided it to other law enforcement agencies.
A pursuit of the vehicle was later reported by Saline and Pettis County Deputies, and all individuals were captured.

Daylen Bankovich, 18, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Saline County Jail, where he is awaiting formal charges from the Saline County Prosecutor’s Office for 2nd Degree Assault, Robbery, Stealing, Unlawful use of a Weapon, armed criminal action and aiding a runaway. Bankovich was boked in at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday.
The juveniles involved have been detained and are awaiting legal action by the Saline County Juvenile Office.
